The Role and the qualities we are looking for: Provenir Healthcare is actively looking for a Market Medical Director to become a key member of the Leadership team for our client. The Director will assist in driving the performance of a largely independent contracted provider network by developing meaningful relationships, financial and quality incentives, adhering to best practices, and applying forward-thinking solutions in order to improve the value proposition to medical providers.


The Market Medical Director will also collaborate to help identify potential physician practice acquisitions, current and or new best practices in support of financial improvements and new innovations to ensure healthcare is meaningful and more efficient for the patients. 


Additionally, the director will foster a cohesive working culture and help create agendas and strategies to lead a multifaceted team made up of Physician Business Manager, Risk Adjustment RNs, and Quality RNs. 


Experience and Education:

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required. Five or more years of clinical experience, including two or more years of managed care experience. An active and unrestricted medical license in Florida, or the ability to obtain these preferred qualifications:  Current board certification and two or more years managed care experience.
