Practice Details

Our client is looking for a board-certified Addiction Medicine physician to work at 2 clinics located in Newport and St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The provider will be working full-time hours each week between the 2 clinics in VT. The candidate will be a direct hire with the client working as a 1099 employee.


Top Requirements:

  • Physician with at least 1 year of Addiction Medicine experience
  • Board Certified in Addiction Medicine

Duties include:

  • Planning and supervising provision of treatment for patients (including regular review and notes in the patient's record) with a strong emphasis on quality & customer service.
  • Oversee any patient emergencies
  • Oversees patient care provided by a physician extender, signs charts, etc., when applicable
  • Supervises the administration of medications
  • Provides patient education specific to various disease processes within our scope of practice
