Permanent Anesthesiology Job in Connecticut

Group covers local hospital (22k cases), an outpatient center 4 days weekly, and an eye center 2-3 days weekly. Everyone in the group does OB, neuro (backs and heads), vascular, thoracic, healthy peds, ortho, and all Gen AN – mostly supervision. The hospital also does about 250 hearts yearly, which will be a large focus of this doctor's workload (cardiac experience is a huge plus). The hospital does about 150 deliveries monthly. Each night in-house they have 1 doc, 1 CRNA & 1 to 2 student CRNAs. There is a CRNA school at the hospital with 10-12 students at any given time. First call is in-house and is shared evenly, 1:12. First call doc comes in at 11AM the day of call and works through the night until 9a-10a the next day. The call doc will have the rest of that day off and the following day off (essentially 2 days off post-call). They also have someone who is 2nd call on beeper who usually goes home between 5p-6p and is called back less than 10% of the time. This doc will get the next day off if they have a long night, otherwise they’ll leave early.
