Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgery: Trauma Jobs in Greenville, North Carolina

Seeking a BC Orthopedic Traumatologists to provide coverage for an orthopedic service line in NC. Each 24-hour shift requires 2 surgeons. One must be a fellowship trained Orthopedic Traumatologist. The second surgeon can be a general orthopedic surgeon with preferred trauma experience.

* Location: 70 miles from Raleigh, NC

* Service Setting: Inpatient

* Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing

* Shift Schedule: 24 Hours

* Estimated 4-6 OR cases per day

* Estimated 5-10 consults per day

* Support Staff: 7 Trauma Surgeons (No NP or PA support)

* Epic EMR System

* Each 24-hour shift requires 2 surgeons

  > 1st surgeon to be in operating room 7 am - 7 pm, then  7 pm - 7 am on restricted back up call

 > 2nd surgeon be on primary call 7 pm - 7 am, then unrestricted backup call, perform morning rounds, and see patients in clinic on Mondays and Fridays from 1:00-5:00 pm
