Locum Tenens Family Practice: Outpatient Only Job in Otago

We're looking for a General Practitioner/Family Medicine physician to practice on the South Island of New Zealand. You'll work a full-time, 8:30a-5:30p schedule and see 24-30 patients per day in a straight GP, outpatient clinic just over an hour north of Dunedin. The facility is responsible for 12 weekends of on-call coverage per year and this is shared equally between the doctors which amounts to about three weekends per year per doctor. Serious trauma/major cases go straight to the ED. Much of what’s in New Zealand can’t be found anywhere else. Nowhere in the world can you hunt for jade at the mouth of a turquoise river in the shadow of the nation’s largest mountain—Mount Cook—while drinking Monteith’s Pacific Pale Ale (a Southern Hemispherean favorite). You can only do that here. Granted, that’s a very specific instance but each of those things respectively call the Land of the Long White Cloud home. Come build your own unique adventure.
