Neurologist needed in South Texas!!

Physician Network  is composed of 60+ providers, 15 FP Residents and 80+ support personnel.  This group manages 11 clinic locations including specialist services in general surgery, trauma surgery, plastic surgery, neurology, endovascular neurology, hospitalists, intensivists, interventional cardiology, ENT, orthopedics, palliative care, PM&R, OB/Gyn, primary care and sports medicine. Hospital is a certified stroke center.  Sister hospital was the first certified stroke center in the Rio Grande Valley (2005) and is now the only Comprehensive Stroke Center south of San Antonio.

The Neurology group includes:

2 BC, fellowship trained Interventional Neurologists

1 BC, Vascular Neurohospitalist

1 BC, Sleep Medicine Fellowship trained, Neurohospitalist

1 BC, Fellowship trained General Outpatient Neurologist (Harlingen)

2 Nurse Practitioners

1 Stroke Coordinator

Hours and Call requirements:  Outpatient only (no call) or traditional inpatient/outpatient (sharing call 1:2)

Special procedures, training or experience needed: Prefer fellowship trained in movement disorders or an epileptologist, willing to see some general.

Require Fellowship trained candidates.  Movement disorders or Epilepsy

Compensation :

Competitive Base Salary with Productivity
