Permanent Psychiatry: General Job in Connecticut

A hospital affiliated multispecialty group is seeking a Medical Director Consultation/Liaison Services.  Reporting to the Chair of Psychiatry this opportunity offers an excellent working environment with a great team of providers.  Oversee the Consultation/Liaison Services and Crisis Service. 

The position is located on the Connecticut shoreline halfway between Boston and New York and the job details/requirements include:

 

  • 5 years experience in a psychiatric setting including an outpatient program preferred

  • Demonstrated management and leadership abilities through previous experience preferred

Full time employed

  • Call 1:4 including weekend call

  • Provides psychiatric consultation services to patients in the general hospital and Emergency Department

  • Collaborate with 2 APRNs and approximately 6 master’s prepared clinicians

  • Participate in scheduled meetings as assigned.

  • Base salary plus variable compensation

  • National Health Services Corps (NHSC) student loan repayment may be available.
