Permanent Hospitalist: Family Medicine Job in California
- Employed position (W-2)
- 465-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Competitive compensation package includes $20000 sign-on bonus relocation package full benefits and malpractice coverage
- $1320 per 12-hour day shift
- Annual bonuses range from $15000-$25000 per physician
- Employer contributes additional 7% of annual income toward pension plan (regardless of employee contribution)
- 10-11 physicians on staff during day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Shifts scheduled in 5-7 day blocks
- Average 2-3 discharges per day shift
- Average 2-3 ICU patients at any given time; Pulmonary Intensivists employed by group co-management system
- Average 1-2 admits per day shift
- 16-18 patients/day average
- 16 shifts/month average workload; no cap on number of shifts
- 90 miles north of Fresno 90 miles east of San Francisco 65 miles south of Sacramento
