Hospitalist Palm Beach FL  Academic Setting 

 

 

o    Census of 20 patients (2 residents with 10 patients each)

o    Expected to do teaching rounds in morning didactic session in afternoon

physician

o    Residents must comply with ACGME work hour and work load rules

o    Residents don’t take night call. Hospitalist group takes call from home academic physician covers one night every 10 days from home

o    Total compensation potential is estimated at $240K

-Private practice model work 23 days per month

o    will work with IM residents and medical students
