Adult ED volume is 130000 plus with high acuity and 28% admitted patients annually. Over 100 hours of physician coverage daily; 50 hour mid-level coverage. Robust hospitalist service interventional cardiology 24/7 surgeons on-call for Trauma hospital-employed Neurosurgery separate Pediatric ED Chest Pain accredited EMS is hospital owned and managed.
