Local 25 bed critical access hospital is searching for both internal medicine physicians as well as family practice physicians. OB is optional. The hospital has 10 physicians on staff which includes 4 FP’s and 3 do OB a Med/Peds physician and an internist. The call is 1 in 5. The primary service area is over 12000 people and the community has approximately 5500 residents. The emergency room is staffed in-house 24/7 through a contract service. You will not find a better trained or more qualified medical staff anywhere in Wyoming. In 2002 over $2.4 million was raised in private donations and $2 million in grants were obtained to help pay for an $8 million expansion and upgrade of both the facility and equipment. They are offering a starting salary between $160000 and $180000 for family medicine and up to $200000 for internal medicine. They also provide relocation and an excellent benefits package. Their location in Wyoming teems with abundant outdoor recreation options including hiking fishing hunting camping back-packing river floating golf tennis swimming skiing and biking.
