Permanent Internal Medicine: General Job in Montana

Provide patient care in Rural Health Clinic and 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that does inpatient outpatient ER and long term care. Work with and may supervise a full-time and a part-time Physician’s Assistant. Providers see between 10 and 20 patients per day in the clinic. Average daily inpatient census is .5. Long term care census is 23-24. The emergency room visits average 40-50 per month so while on call providers are not onsite but must be available to respond within 30 minutes. Physician shares call with the full-time PA 1-2 week nights holidays and 1:3 weekends. Position requires procedure skills: suturing casting joint injections basic biopsy basic lesion removal chest tube insertion others as training/experience provide.
