Medical Director (Psychiatrist)

Thriving psychiatric hospital system is looking to hire a BE/BC Psychiatrist that specializes in addiction psychiatry to serve as Medical Director. The position details are as follows:

Position Overview (Psychiatrist)

• Full-time employed position
• Primarily clinical practice setting
• Treat patients 18years and older
• No on call requirements

Requirements (Psychiatrist)

• MD/DO
• Board Eligible/Certified American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Experience in treating substance abuse patients
• At least Five years working in a substance abuse treatment setting
• Requires knowledge in the care and handling of patients in all age groups ranging from ages 18 through adult and geriatric
• Must possess organizational and management skills
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in NY State
• Comfortable with EMR
