Permanent Occupational Medicine Jobs in Massachusetts

 Part-time (24 hours) opportunity with our Occupational Medicine Practice.  Promotes and maintains Occupational Health directives by providing medical services for a diverse group of clients. Manages and treats work related injuries.  Position Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Perform DOT, Respiratory Clearance Certifications and Pre-Employment Physicals.
B. Perform return to work and fit for duty physicals.
C. Evaluate, treat and manage worker's compensation injuries and illnesses.
D. Manage Exposures and provide appropriate immunizations and treatment.
E. Perform municipal Police, Firefighter and ROTC medical examinations.
F. Determine whether physical and medical impairments adversely affect applicant's ability to safely perform job duties.
G. Collaborate and consult with physicians based on experience, skill set and scope of practice. Refer and communicate to medical and therapeutic specialists when indicated.
H. Document all patient encounters, phone calls and emails in a timely and thorough manner.
I. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clinical and clerical staff. Facilitate collegial and supportive relationships. Participate in monthly provider and staff meetings.
J. Maintain and improve knowledge base and skills through self-learning and professional medical educational programs
