LOCUMS Psychiatry Position in Eastern TN!     #2965

Our client is growing again and has immediate needs for Locums Psychiatrists.  This would be for one week each month and would be Monday-Friday, 7-5 each day.  The day would consist of rounding on patients in a 12-bed unit. On Tuesdays you would be meeting with the patient care planning team for about three hours and assisting daily in the out-patient clinic with appointments scheduled on the half hour.

On average you would see eight patients/day.

This is a locum’s opportunity. Position offers an excellent hourly compensation, travel expenses, housing if necessary, meal per diem and on-call compensation over and above the hourly rate.  Due to the nature of the schedule it is possible to plan this time well in advance as a guaranteed time for work.

The location is in Eastern TN and is one hour from the Tri-City area (Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport TN), Knoxville TN or Asheville, NC.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist.  Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
