Permanent Psychiatry: Child & Adolescent Job in Indianapolis, Indiana

Child & Adolescent psychiatrist needed to work 100% outpatient. You will treat a wide range of patients across the lifespan from 3 to 83 in your choice of one or all five  locations and report to the Medical Director. There are currently other psychiatrists on staff.  If you are board certified in adult psychiatry and comfortable seeing children or adolescents you also can be considered for this position.

 60/40 Child to adult mix or higher is possible.

If you enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team then you will love this opportunity as each psychiatrist works on a treatment team with a nurse or medical assistant who gathers all the information. You will be responsible for the evaluation, med management and follow up.  There is no set time limit for med checks evals and follow-ups.

There is a full support team of therapists and social workers and first call is given to them.  Call is 1 in 6 and you will not be called unless there is a need for hospitalization.

 Psychiatrist can work in one or multiple locations. Travel between locations will be reimbursed. This would be your choice.
