Locum Tenens Surgery: Vascular Job in Tennessee
Vascular Surgeon
Our client has an urgent need for locums Vascular Surgeon to join their facility in the Johnson City Metro Area for a call coverage only.
Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O. acceptable.
- Must be Board Certified
- Fellowship required. Surgeons with recently completed fellowships considered on a case-by-case basis.
- MUST have Tennessee medical license. Candidates who are currently working in the Tri-Cities area or within a 30-mile radius of the Tri-Cities of Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City, TN region will NOT be accepted.
- Excellent communications skills required.
- Trauma and endovascular competencies preferred. Not required.
Practice Details:
- Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Call Type: In-House
- Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes
- Call Ratio: 1:1
- Locums call is for both assigned and unassigned patients
- Average Call Numbers per 24 Hours
- Phone Consults: Average 15-30 per day
- Patients Seen: Up to 10 per 24 hours
- Admissions: Admissions and consults
- Hours/Shifts: Monday – Sunday, On Call
- Rounding: Both assigned and unassigned patients
- Patients Per Shift: 10-15
- Resident or teaching supervision required
- Facility provides all capabilities, such as Interventional Radiology labs, etc., needed for the surgeon
