Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Job in Texas
Emergency Medicine Physician
Our client in Southern Texas is currently seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team.
Requirements:
- BC/BE in EM, FP, IM. Prefers ABEM/ABOEM. BE considered for 5 years post residency but not after boards lapse
- Completed Residency (must be US program)
- ATLS Required
- ACLS and PALS required. Will accept AHA with hands on only.
- Minimum 2 years ED experience in comparable volume facility if not ABEM
- Expedited privileges allowed if no red flags/malpractice
- Special app required for expedited files
- Extensive Hospital orientation and computer training to include: MediTech, ScriptRX, MUSE & PACs + at least 1 shadow shift required for new providers
Practice Details:
- Shift times: 7a-7p; 2p-2a; 7p-7a (mid-level coverage 10a-10p)
- 15 shifts needed
- Codes are required
- Providers will do procedures
- No Scribes
