Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Job in Texas

Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Northeast Texas is currently seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team.

Requirements:

• BC/BE in EM, IM, FP, GS
• BLS, ATLS, PALS, ACLS required even if ABEM
• Must have completed a residency
• Licensed providers only
• No 3rd EM residents accepted

Practice Details:

• Single coverage with 48 hours of APP coverage.
  • Allows 24-hour shifts
  • Physician Shift Times: 7a-7p/7p-7a  
  • MLP shift times 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 12p-12a, 4p-4a
• 8-10 shifts per month 
• 2 ER physicians on per day
• Patient census: 1.7 per day/hour
• Codes are required
• Providers will do procedures
• Fast Track covered by MLP
• Scribes are available
• Lower Acuity
• No MLP on-call
