Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Job in Texas

Emergency Medicine Physician

Our client in Southern Texas is currently in need of locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team.

Requirements:

• ABEM required
• No ABPS/AAPS certification is accepted
• ACLS, PALS, & ATLS required. It must be current during reappointment.
• ABEM providers do not have to renew ATLS, but must have proof that they had it during initial appointment. (State requires that all physicians have a current ATLS while working at a trauma facility which overrides facility's bylaws).
• 6 shifts per month minimum to be considered.

Practice Details:

• 44 hours of daily MD coverage; 20 hours daily MLP coverage
• Shift Times:
  • Docs: 6a-6p, 10a-10p, 3p-3a, and 6p-6a                      
  • MLP: 9a-9p, 12p-10p
• No call requirements
