#1237 I received your contact information from your job board listing. I am working with a 200 provider, physician owned, MSG in the Pacific Northwest that is adding another Pulmonologist/CC specialist to their team. EBUS is preferred and an interest in exercise studies is welcomed. Call is primarily consultative. As the only PUD/CCM specialists in the service area of 250K the department see’s all aspects of pulmonary and critical care. The entire multispecialty group and the local hospital has shared EMR. The multi-disciplinary conferences are stimulating and clinical faculty appointments are available by teaching University of Washington med students. Also the energetic and stable non-physician team includes a PA-C, RNs, therapists, technicians, and coordinators. The lifestyle is outstanding. There are many recreational opportunities for the robust enthusiast to locations that fulfill the family’s desires. The community boasts about low crime, not traffic jams and outstanding schools. The group is so family oriented that the provider does not worry about taking either an afternoon off or a couple of hours to be at a family event. The area has over 300 days of sunshine, four distinct seasons and housing costs low enough that you can have a home that holds the family and all of the equipment to enjoy the play time available. The community has an airport that has daily flights to several convenient locations. As a native and resident here in the Northwest, I have a special connection to this area and its needs. HCR has been assisting physicians for over 28 years to locate opportunities that fit their personal and professional requirements. Locating the opportunity that most fits your needs can be somewhat difficult in terms of available information on practice opportunities. It is our function at HCR to ease the transition of each physician and their family by assisting them in obtaining that information. Most recruiters play a numbers game. They deluge physicians with practice opportunities in the hope that one of the many will result in a match. All too often, the outcome is wasted time, energy, and money for the physician. We represent physicians who do not want to be part of a database. Physicians who want someone to screen multiple opportunities for them and who want to remain anonymous while the conduct their search. Choosing the right search firm is of great importance as you need one which makes the entire recruitment process more effective, efficient, manageable and worthwhile. Often as noted above the recruitment phase becomes tedious requiring a significant number of hours reviewing opportunities that are not focused on your needs and desires. HCR puts the human touch back into the aspect of recruiting. HCR believes that the physicians search for a practice and location is a large part of the long-term success of you finding a location that you will be ready to stay at long-term. HCR operates on a different premise: We strive for quality, not quantity. First, we consider the experience and skills needed for a particular practice. Then, we take into account the personalities of both the physician and the client. Further, we factor in the physician’s lifestyle, geographic preferences, and family considerations. This will result in a physician satisfied long-term with their decision. In addition to the opportunity that I have discussed with you, I am associated with a coalition of over 100 independent recruiters who work nationwide and represent a wide range of career options. If my current listings aren't an exact match for your requirements, I have the ability to share with you any opportunities of this far reaching network. Alternatively, I am able to provide the membership with an anonymous description of your requirements and goals. Without divulging your name or contact information, other recruiters will be able to contact my office with opportunities that fit your needs. From there, together you and I can review only those that appear to be a good fit for you personally and I will be happy to introduce you for any opportunity you choose to pursue. This can certainly simplify your search and save you from multiple unsolicited dead-end contacts. Your time is too valuable to do all the necessary networking on your own. I feel confident that HCR will be able to help you locate the practice you seek. Again, please send your CV as an attachment in a Word document format. Please be assured that your information does not leave this office unless you have given us your approval. You can either email or fax the data. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 1-541-382-1732. You can view our web site for some of our current opportunities at www.hcrecruit.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
