Our Emergency Department is a very busy level III Trauma Center that’s see’s 60,000 visits annually. We recently underwent an 11 million dollar renovation and expansion of our emergency medical services has made us one of the newest Emergency Departments in the region. The Emergency Department provides multi-disciplinary coordinated care between the physicians, nurse practitioners', nurses, physician assistants and technologists ensuring you are always receiving the highest quality of care. With our new and expanded facilities we provide unparalleled emergency care that is second to none. The Emergency Department Physician will perform the duties and responsibilities needed for the proper, efficient, and professional care and treatment of all patients presenting to the Emergency Department and for the proper, efficient, and professional operation of the Emergency Department. Candidates must be a graduate of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education. Additionally, candidates must hold or be eligible for a New York license to practice medicine, and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required. A minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred. Hours/year: 1728 (Flex Schedule / Very Competitive Salary) Education Requirements: Graduate of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Certification/Licensing Requirements: Hold or be eligible for a New York license to practice medicine.
