Permanent Pediatrics: Adolescent Medicine Job in Massachusetts

An Award–winning healthcare system is searching for an academic-focused physician to join Children’s Hospital’s Division of Adolescent Medicine in Springfield MA.

This opportunity features:

  • Robust Adolescent Medicine program including our established multidisciplinary Eating Disorder Program involvement with youth in the local Job Corps program and in college health at a nearby university. 10-bed dedicated adolescent inpatient unit.
  • Opportunity for significant protected scholarly time based on proven record of clinical research or quality outcomes research. Our nationally-recognized multidisciplinary research program Center for Quality of Care Research develops innovative methods to measure the quality and outcomes of care evaluates the effectiveness of common treatments and improves care delivery through the design implementation and assessment of new approaches in medicine.  There is the opportunity to join our new program in substance abuse research.
  • Support for educational pursuits though student loan forgiveness or financial support for Masters in Clinical Research.
  • A combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with University of Massachusetts School of Medicine faculty appointment. We have 65 residents within our Pediatric and Medicine/Pediatric training programs.

BC/BE Adolescent Medicine physicians and Internists or Pediatricians with significant adolescent medicine experience and dedication to academic medicine are invited to apply. Experience with adolescent gynecology is required and comfort with treating eating disorders is strongly preferred.   Career advancement opportunities are available and encouraged.
