Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon – Texas
Medical group is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to provide surgical and procedural care for patients presenting with acute musculoskeletal injuries, orthopedic trauma, and personal injury cases.
This physician will primarily focus on upper and lower extremity injuries, providing both surgical and non-surgical treatment within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose acute musculoskeletal injuries involving the upper and lower extremities
- Treat orthopedic injuries associated with trauma and personal injury cases
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing surgical and non-surgical approaches
- Perform extremity-focused orthopedic surgical and procedural interventions
- Manage patients throughout the treatment and recovery process
- Provide inpatient and emergency orthopedic care as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, care teams, and relevant case stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Exercise independent clinical judgment while adhering to appropriate standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Strong experience treating orthopedic and extremity-related injuries
- Demonstrated surgical and procedural expertise
- Ability to efficiently manage acute injury cases
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
