24-hour coverage from Friday evening through Monday morning

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Low; specifics to be confirmed
• Case Mix: Comprehensive cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) on pump
- Valve repair/replacement (including TAVR)
- Thoracic surgeries (minimally invasive and open)
- Aneurysmectomy (thoracic aorta, ventricular)
- Vascular surgeries (Open EVAR, TVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop, fem-fem)
- Specialized procedures: Maze, pacemaker placement, bronchoscopy
FACILITY INFORMATION

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Emergency privileges granted for clean backgrounds
• Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered; provider must stay in a nearby hotel for on-call availability
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Comprehensive cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve replacement/repair, thoracic and vascular surgeries
• Supervision of endoscopic vein harvesting
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Wisconsin license
• Board Certification: Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Certifications: DEA
• Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR and cardiothoracic procedures
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide cardiothoracic surgical care during on-call hours
• Manage a variety of complex cardiothoracic and vascular cases
• Collaborate with the surgical team for high-quality patient outcomes
• Ensure timely response to on-call duties while maintaining patient safety
