 Outstanding OB-GYN Hospitalist opportunity at one of the leading teaching hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. This is one of the largest independent teaching hospitals in the United States, serving a culturally diverse population. They deliver 6,500 babies per year. They have 24 OBGYN residents, 3^rd  year medical students, multiple sub-internships, and MIS and MFM fellowships.

• Hospitalists supervise trainees, provide coverage for private physicians, serve as a backup for our midwifery team, triage emergencies and provide care for patients.

• There are research, education, simulation, and leadership opportunities available. All hospitalists are required to participate in education for our learners, which includes residents, medical students, PA students and midwifery students.

Must be board certified in OBGYN or have completed an OBGYN hospitalist fellowship. Hospitalists cover labor and delivery, OBGYN triage, postpartum and the emergency room.

Shifts are flexible, can include a combination of both 24 and 12-hour call, with both weekday and weekend call required.

Ideal candidates will be good communicators with excellent clinical skills who enjoy working on a busy labor floor in a team setting.
