Permanent Internal Medicine: General Job in Maryland
Our client, located in Baltimore, is looking to add a primary care/psychiatrist physician. If you attended a combined program or alternative pathway and are dual trained in either internal medicine and psychiatry or family practice and psychiatry, this could be the right job for you. This is not your typical outpatient position. The physician will be working with high-acuity, complex patients. Physicians who have experience working with an underserved patient population with multiple health/behavioral and/or substance abuse patients are preferred, but this is not a requirement. Work a Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends and no extended hours. There is a possibility to do 4, 8-hour shifts instead of Monday through Friday. A competitive salary, bonuses, and full benefits are offered for this position.
There is a reason why Baltimore is known as "Charm City". It is a big city with a small-town feel and packed with exciting restaurants, craft breweries, and museums. It is a popular home base for D.C. commuters, young professionals, and folks looking for big-city amenities that don't cost them the feeling of a community based vibe.
