Locum tenens is an excellent way of augmenting your existing salary & test driving your geo-preferences. • Position: Locum Tenens Hospitalist. Client will also allow for Locums to Perm transition. • City, State: Wilmington, OH. (1-hr. north of Cincinnati). • Facility: Community Hospital, Regional Health System. • Facility Profile: All services, including emergency medicine, cardiology, general surgery, ENT, FM, IM, neurology, oncology. • Beds: 102-bed (6-bed, open ICU). • Trauma: N/A • ADC: 18 - 20 patients. 4.5% Admits/day. • Support Staff: NP/PA’s, RN’s, Tech’s, sub-specialty back-up support, typical of a community hospital. • BC in IM or FM w/inpatient rounding experience. • MD or DO. • EMR: Med Host. • Procedures: Yes, intubations, vent management, central lines. • Open ICU, w/Intensivist coverage. 6-bed ICU. • Schedule: 7on/7off, 7a – 7p. Call required w/added comp offered. NP/PA’s after hours. • Locums Compensation: $153/per hour.
