Locum Tenens Psychiatry: General Job in Lebanon, Pennsylvania

RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

·       Shall cover the range of Psychiatry services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized by the Joint Commission, VA and national standards.

·       It is an estimated 90% of the time involved in direct patient care, 10% administrative.

·       Mental Health issues may include but are not limited to dementia, mood, schizophrenic and addictive disorders, PTSD, and those Veterans with co-morbid and medical/neurological disorders.

·       Mental Health services include inpatient care on the one 22-bed unit.

·       Efficiently and effectively navigate the electronic health record for timely completion of all required medical center documentation.

Psychiatrist - REQUIREMENTS

·       Shall have a current license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. All licenses held must be full and unrestricted and do not/have never had a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered, pending action, or denied upon application.

·       Must be board certified/board eligible by the ABPN.

·       Must have current ACLS and BLS certified or equivalency.
