This Birmingham Health System is assisting a large multi-specialty physician group in their search for a Board certified/board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for its office in Pell City, AL (35 miles east). Job features include the following. 

• Clinic expansion due to growth
• Excellent urgent care feeds primary care
• Prefer IM or FM new grads
• MD or DO
• American or Internationally trained
• Practice started in 2001
• Expected to see 25 – 30 patients per day
• Lab in office
• Imaging: MRI, US, Dexa, CT
• Procedures: allow MD to take on what they want to do
• 45% Blue Cross from nearby Honda plant and school system
• 35% Medicare

• Outpatient only
• Practice is part of Complete Health
• Day starts at 8:15 and out before 5.
• Last patient scheduled at 4:15

• Outpatient only position
• 1:6 call on weekdays; 1:9 call on weekends
