We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Physician-Neurology to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH) in Fort Carson, Colorado.

• Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm

The Physician-Neurology must have the following qualifications:

• Degree/Education: 

 • Certifications: 

 • Licensure/Registration: 

 • Board Certification: 

 • Degree/Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from an accredited college in the United States or Canada and approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the AMA or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association

 • Certification:  Basic Life Support

 • Board Certification: Shall be board eligible or board certified in neurology

 • Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a neurologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guan, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands as required in the task order

 • Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions

 • Shall have a minimum of one year within the past three years in the practice neurology or have just graduated from an approved neurology residency program that is accredited by the American Board of Neurology

 • Shall possess and maintain all current regulatory requirements for certification and/or licenses to practice medicine and a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration Certificate in accordance with the laws of the state where the services are being provided

 • Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United State, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States
