Permanent Aerospace/Flight Medicine Job in Ogden, Utah
We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Physician-Flight Surgeon to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

The Physician-Flight Surgeon must have the following qualifications:
• Degree/Education: Successful completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine is mandatory
• Certifications: Basic Life Support, board eligible or board certified as required in the task order
• Licensure/Registration: The Flight Surgeon shall possess a valid, full, unrestricted current licensure, from any U.S. jurisdiction, and must maintain the license in active status, the license shall be in good standing, and under no clinical restrictions, with the state licensure board, in any state in which a license is held or has been held within the last 10 years
• Board Certification: Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM), or the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM)
• Experience: Successful completion of a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine residency
• 3 years of practicing Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine out of the last 4 years is required. Formal training in aerospace medicine with US Air Force or US Navy is highly desirable, but not mandatory
• Experience in directing the evaluation of Air Force aviation personnel to assist in completing aeromedical waivers
• Experience in directing and completing occupational examination requirements that would be seen on an Air Force base
• Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United State, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States
