The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) offers a full range of eye care services from routine to subspecialty eye care for adults and children. With over 35,000 patient visits per year, we are a busy and growing practice with strong interests in academics, residency training, and quality patient care. Full subspecialty backup is available in this collegial and democratically run academic practice. Research funding is available for qualified applicants. TTUHSC serves an area of 131,000 square miles and a population of 2.7 million.
