Emergency Medicine Physician Job near Birmingham, Alabama (10240). Busy emergency department looking to add 1 full time physician to their staff. Physicians can be Primary care boarded in FP or IM or EM trained. The group has a few different shifts available. They want the new physician to work at least 15 shifts a month. The volume is 48,000 and they have 2 PA’s on staff. They have all specialty back up. The group offers 2 options for compensation. You can be an Employee of the group with full benefits. PTO is worked into the schedule and they offer money towards CME. Partnership can be offered to the right person after at least 1 year of working full time. They also cover malpractice insurance You can also chose to be an Independent contractor. NO BENEFITS But they will cover malpractice. This is a busy area with a 5 county population of 1 million.
