OPHTHALMOLOGIST needed in the Phoenix area!!

Private Group is hiring a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist for a surgical glaucoma + cataract positions located in Phoenix and Sun City, Arizona. You will enjoy weekly surgical block time with talented and experienced staff in our excellent ASC while taking advantage of our upcoming phaco machine upgrade. SLT and Argon lasers are performed in the clinic setting. No hospital, trauma or ER call. Typical non-postop clinic volume consists of 20-25 patients per day. As our glaucoma specialist, you will have minimal comprehensive ophthalmology responsibilities (<10%) outside of cataracts and urgent drop-in coverage, though we can provide the opportunity to continue utilizing other skills you’ve worked hard to hone and wish to maintain. Bring your advanced evidence-based glaucoma care practices and work with four MD’s and 12 excellent OD’s in an environment that strives to enhance the patient experience. Potential resident and medical student clinical teaching opportunities with a local university academic medical center.

Qualifications:

· Board Certification Ophthalmologist required

· Active/unrestricted AZ licensure required

· General Ophthalmology experience required

· Strong Phaco skills required

· Glaucoma Specialist required - Glaucoma Fellowship Trained, preferred
