MEDICAL DIRECTOR POSITION:

Medical Center began as a single facility formed 28 years ago in Texas, to provide the highest level of healthcare to patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries. Currently, they treat more than 40,000 injuries and see more than a million patient visits in 12 months. They operate 63 occupational medicine facilities across Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.  They successfully operate outpatient acute injury care clinics in an Occupational Medicine setting. Services include minor work injury care, NO chronic pain management! They offer a fully integrated EMR system with complete automation that provides the Medical Director with the opportunity to focus on delivering high quality patient care with minimal administrative duties required of the provider.  Successful candidates come from various medical backgrounds including UC, ED, FP, ER, IM or Ortho.

    Responsibilities

    • Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients
    • Performs medical assessments of Center patients
    • Maintain clinical core competency
    • Work with Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards of Nova Medical Centers
    • Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction and center performance


    Qualifications

     

    • Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
    • Eagerness and ability to become a Practice Builder
    • Current state licensure
    • Current DEA licensure. 
    • State Controlled Substance Licensure, if required by State Law
    • Experienced in UC, ER, FP, ER, IM. Ortho  experience preferred
    • Experience/ability to suture
    • Experience/ ability to read x-rays and ability to diagnose Ortho related injuries
    • Authorized to work in the USA
    • Ability to work in a cooperative, multidiscipline setting
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Good judgment, dependability and integrity
