Geriatric Psychiatrist for Inpatient opportunity in Fayetteville, Arkansas #2998

We need a Geriatric Psychiatrist but will consider General Psychiatrist with experience and/or interest in working with a mostly Geriatric case load.

This is an 80 bed behavioral health facility which provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

The Senior Adult Program addresses the needs of senior citizens through a combination of therapies, activities and education, which encourages patients to regain as much independence as possible. They offer group counseling, individual therapy, medication management, recreation activities and more.

Located just off I-540 in the Springwoods Development on Highway 112, the facility is convenient to all of northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region.

The six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123 acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary which cannot be developed from its natural state. This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those on the road to recovery.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist. Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
